3/10/2024 0 Comments Endless space 2 ship gallerysince as Horatio every Life Form Discovery of a species you already have in your gene-deck is just wasted space. I like having one trashcan system and just dump them there, raze, recolonize and leave that one system for later. With manpower it's a constant task to do so, especially if you got some leftover population somewhere that keeps making babies while you keep trying to get rid of them. Plusside #X: Once you have all the plebs in one system you are rid of them in one turn. I dunno about other situations but for me in this instance it was way less troublesome than converting to manpower. Also less drain on the dust bills for the ships and I rather not put a boatload of my ships on the market. Rather reboot 2 systems I've barely developed and resettle, tyvm. Still, was way easier to use the assimilated system, colonize the planets there for spare space than build a sh!tton of ships to have room to convert 27 pops to manpower. Yeah, maybe if the game lets me choose which pop to convert to manpower. Or just exile them (possibly giving them for free to other major empires) or something like that.Īnyway, if you have a game with a faction like the GLORIOUS Horatio that basically murder-science other species for their traits give us the option to play pure Horatio.Īnyway, after a way too long and ardous process my cluster of stars is now purely Horatio again and I have a pretty darn long list of traits per Horatio population. Just I dunno, sell the pops on the market so other empires, that actually want diversity, can buy them. Even if you don't put them all in a meatgrinder or something equally horrific. Honestly I am amazed that the feature to get rid of pops isn't in the game yet. It is a workaround mind you, not a solution. Or evacuate if you have the tech (gives you a nice little money boost and a Core-Species colony ship). Now, once you have all the pops you don't want or need in one system, raze it. Ideally you have alot of space there for them so you don't have to do this more than once every 50+ turns. Use the spaceport to "cart" all the pops you don't want to a system you have barely just developed. Horatios, you feel my pain of having surplus, already spliced minor faction pops amirite? This is a workaround until the game lets us purge Pops we don't want.
